2011 Girls Generation Tour

I cannot wait!
Update: I waited over a month. Here is a redone review:

This is a very good concert video covering their material up to (but not including) The Boys. It is very similar to Japan First Tour [Blu-ray], but has more songs and a making of video. A reviewer on Amazon.co.jp gave this 5 stars for people who haven't seen the First Japan Tour, 3 stars for those who have. I pretty much agree, except Lady Marmalade pulls it up to 4.

Different from the Japan tour, worth the price
I really enjoy their music, and when I found out there was a second version of this tour's concert i was really interested as to why, other than perhaps the songs all being in Korean. Simply, there's much more live singing (or perhaps it's just because Korea prefers to have the audience participation sounds in the filming so they left all the original sounds in) and the girls do a good job. I know it's impossible to maintain perfect quality singing while dancing, so the producers simply make the best 'product' that they can for the audiences, but that does seem to annoy all the purists out there. Not me; I enjoy all SNSD's performance, no matter how they're done, as they are doing it to make something we can all feel good about watching. So if you like hearing how the girls really sound, you'll love this dvd. Then you have the added solo performances which were left out of the Japan tour discs, so that was a nice plus. I just wish that they had added the option of a bluray disk for...
