Nesting

somewhat fun, mainly stupid
I only watched this because it was free to watch on amazon prime. The leads are fun and I enjoy the exploration of values in life. However, mostof it is just kind of stupid - the leads start to go on a trip from Pasadena to San Francisco and end up going through (and stopping in) Silver Lake, their old neighborhood. First of all, Silver Lake isn't on the way to SF from Pasadena (Silver Lake is south and SF is north). Second, this neighborhood isn't very far from Pasadena as it seems in the movie. Third, the movie is kind of silly. This couple completely lost touch with people who live 12 miles away?!

An example of the film's stupidity is in one of the first scenes in the movie the male lead starts talking to his friend in the mall and then suddenly a random girl starts following him, as well as 2 male shirtless abercrombie models? Then the end is kind of stupid like that too.

Not worth your time.

Painful to watch.
I really don't know how I got through this movie to the end. It was painfully awful. The acting was so bad it made me consider an acting career of my own. I don't think they shot more than one take of any scene in this film. The characters are completely generic and frankly really annoying. The plot was pathetic. I felt obligated to review this film to save others from a similar experience. Seriously horrible!

realistic romantic movie with a feel good ending... not a fairytale... a story about the bumpy road to adult relationships
